Seamus's Summer Adventure

July 15th, 2013
     We went  to a rec center on Sunday. At the center we played badminton first.   I loved it.   Then we went rock climbing. I was scared a lot, so I only got to an ice cream rock.  I got to go three times. At my first time I only made it to a balloon rock, but I got better each time.   After rock climbing we went swimming.  We went on the Lazy River, and a big blue awesome water slide, ya Hoo!  And I also got to get rained on by a pretend parrot.   I also went on a yellow baby slide.
      After swimming I went home and had a nap.  Then I went back to the Calgary Stampede with Grandma and Coach.  Mommy and Daddy took Aisling and Deirdre to camp and then came to the stampede.
   At the Stampede I won a banana toy, Iheld a baby sheep and went on some rides.   We all watched the chuck wagon races (except Aisling and Deirdre, who were at camp).  I won some money betting with mommy.   After the races there was a really good show with kids. There was singing and  dancing and everything.    And there were also people hanging off wires, standing in boxes shooting out confettie with their confetti guns.  And at the end I also got cotton candy, yum!   It was fun!



July 13th, 2013

Yesterday I went to Drumheller, where I always wanted to go. There was a whole T-Rex! There was even an Ice Age part.  My favourite part was seeing all the turtles.   My favourite part was also the ocean part. I liked seeing the cavemen poking things (spears).   We also saw the Hoo Doos.  The Hoo Doos are big piles of dirt with caps on them.  There were bumble bees there.  There were lots of people.  And I also got to pick out a dinosaur ring and a turtle toy. Not a real ring.

Today we went to a Stampede breakfast at Caydens school.  It was very cold.  And there were a big slide and jumpy castle. But we couldn't go on the jumpy castle because it was for little kids. That was okay. There were also pony rides, but the lines were really long so we left.   Then we went shopping. And we had to buy new earrings for Deirdre and new cowboy boots. Then we went to play at a playground, but I brought my turtle too. And we had the whole playground to ourselves at the starting.  Grandma and Coach had a big barbecue tonight.  My favourite person was Max, he was a baby. I also loved playing with my other cousins.  And there were a lot of people at the barbecue.  There was also, the real life Santa Clause and he is my Great Uncle!  I are a lot of food at the BBQ. Then at the end I saw Santa and showed him my pyjamas. Then I came to bed to write my blog!

   Once upon a time I went to a place that was kinda like a circus, but it wasn't exactly a circus. It was the Calgary Stampede.  It was really fun.  I saw lots of people and I also got to go on rides, even a ski lift.  I also got to play games.  I went on Daddy's shoulders and I got to see some Tipi's.   Coach bought me some chocolate covered bacon!  Yummy!   Daddy got a chocolate covered jalapeno, he liked it, but it made his tongue burn.  At the end we went to a salad stand and got to play a wack the salad game.   It was infinity thumbs up!

Seamus's Airplane Day

First we went to Montreal.  We were at the airport. We waited a long time. While we had a long time we hada great time, but it was long.  There were lots of things to do. I was really excited to go on the airplane. I was scared on the airplane, but as we went I was getting braver and braver and braver.  There were a lot of airplanes.
